Playtime in Paliland

Well, I thought about writing about the pleasant surprise that turned out to be the French election today or maybe even a personal note about how I ran and completed my first half marathon this morning but then I saw this little gem on Yahoo:

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip - Muslim extremists attacked a children's festival at a U.N.-run elementary school Sunday, killing a politician's bodyguard and wounding seven people in the latest incident of lawlessness engulfing the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian unity government formed two months ago appears powerless to end extremist groups on foreigners, music shops and Internet cafes. Clan fighting, kidnappings and other attacks have added to the chaos.

Boy, those palis sure know how to celebrate stuff don't they? And, nothing like doing it at a UN-run elementary school in order to impress all the marvellous UN-types who've been busy hyping the wonderfulness of the palis over many decades.

The fact is, has been and always will be (I imagine) that palestinians are a complete waste of time, money and effort.

Why did this happen?

The homemade bomb and gun attack on the U.N. school in the southern Gaza refugee camp of Rafah began with a protest by Muslim extremists in long robes, who said a sports festival the school was hosting was un-Islamic. One protester's sign said the U.N. "is turning schools into nightclubs."

Sports are unislamic. Dancing is unislamic. Sex is unislamic. Drinking is unislamic. Killing people - now that's islamic.

In fact, here are the stats for palis killing palis in Gaza for the past couple of years - and these are the stats palis themselves admit to, so you can bet the number is likely much higher:

New statistics showed that during the first three months of the year 147 Gazans, including 10 children, were killed by fellow Palestinians, according to the Palestinian human rights group Al-Mezan.

Factional fighting killed 57 people in 2004, followed by 101 in 2005 and 252 last year.

But, lest anyone forget: this is no doubt Israel's fault.

I wonder if running half-marathons is unislamic and can only imagine that it must be. There were women there and not one of them was wearing a burka. To be truthful, watching some of them made the time pass much more quickly as did the music from my IPod. Man, I'm so far up the beheading line I better learn to run a hell of a lot faster than the nine minute miles I was turning in this morning...

"Killing people - now that's islamic."

Somewhat duplicitous and facile considering Israel is the land of 'assassinations.'

"Western countries must unite in an effort to assassinate Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, former head of the Mossad Meir Amit said on Wednesday night"

http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1176152828140&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has to be killed. Really be killed, I mean, physically. He should be eliminated, put to death, assassinated, and all those words that serve to say the same thing.

Maybe it is just that Jews aim a little higher in their murders; ask Arafat.

Congrats on your half-marathon, Southie!

Thanks, cat.
Believe it or not, I actually enjoyed. Thinking I might start training to do a full one.

Hey Senile, why don't you ask Arafat?
And when you get back, let me know if there is a separate hell for whitey.

He wants to kill every Israeli does he?

Or was he just deliberately mistranslated?

Note that the "quote" in question was itself a quote— they are the words of the late Ayatollah Khomeini, the father of the Islamic Revolution. Although he quoted Khomeini to affirm his own position on Zionism, the actual words belong to Khomeini and not Ahmadinejad. Thus, Ahmadinejad has essentially been credited (or blamed) for a quote that is not only unoriginal, but represents a viewpoint already in place well before he ever took office.

So what did Ahmadinejad actually say? To quote his exact words in farsi:

"Imam ghoft een rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad."

That passage will mean nothing to most people, but one word might ring a bell: rezhim-e. It is the word "Regime", pronounced just like the English word with an extra "eh" sound at the end. Ahmadinejad did not refer to Israel the country or Israel the land mass, but the Israeli regime. This is a vastly significant distinction, as one cannot wipe a regime off the map. Ahmadinejad does not even refer to Israel by name, he instead uses the specific phrase "rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods" (regime occupying Jerusalem).

So this raises the question.. what exactly did he want "wiped from the map"? The answer is: nothing. That's because the word "map" was never used. The Persian word for map, "nagsheh", is not contained anywhere in his original farsi quote, or, for that matter, anywhere in his entire speech. Nor was the western phrase "wipe out" ever said. Yet we are led to believe that Iran's President threatened to "wipe Israel off the map", despite never having uttered the words "map", "wipe out" or even "Israel."

The full quote translated directly to English:

"The Imam said this regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time."

Word by word translation:

Imam (Khomeini) ghoft (said) een (this) rezhim-e (regime) ishghalgar-e (occupying) qods (Jerusalem) bayad (must) az safheh-ye ruzgar (from page of time) mahv shavad (vanish from).

Its all just more propaganda to justify a long pre-planned war- and you have hit the nail on the head in any case- Iran may well pose some sort of perceived security risk to Israel- as Iraq may have- but not the US and the UK.

War by proxy.

That's the game.

And Israel's approach to assassination all over Europe and the world can hardly be called restrained by any definition of the word.

The Sentinel said...

Yeah, whatever, the point is he didn't say it, so where is your justification for yet more murder now.

And why are you so special that you don't have to conform to international laws?

southfield_2001 said...

Oh, btw, sentibull: you say Madmanijad didn't say it. That doesn't mean he didn't, not to mention, even if he didn't, a three-year-old could read between the lines and understand exactly what he meant.
Which certainly calls into question your age, doesn't it.
Oh, and, the guy who said Madmanijad should be assassinated is not a member of Israel's government or anyone else in a significant position of power, so basically it's just one man's opinion. Personally, I share that opinion, so that's two, I guess. But, I'm not a member of Israel's government, my own government or anyone else significant, either.

The line between real terorists and false flag groups is very hazy.

We all know for instance that Mossad created Hamas to counter the PLO, but they now say that it slipped out of their control some years ago- did it really; and what loyal and benevolent agency would create a terrorist group that is against its client states people?

http://truthatsentinel.blogspot.com/2007/02/smoke-and-mirrors.html

How much of this is self-inflicted to create the problem for solutions already formulated and directions already plotted in advance?

Mossad have a long history of infiltration's, manipulations and false flag operations.

And the man calling for Ahmadinejad is the former head of Mossad- do you really think he is out of the loop? And it is indicative of the mentality of that organisation.

But don't take my word for it that Ahmadinejad didn't say this- learn farsi or get a conversion dictionary and see for yourself.

But of course, you are not at all interested in what he really said are you? Because when the deliberate propaganda lie is exposed you can "read between the lines" to hear what he was erroneously purported to have said even though he didn't say it!

Some programming you have there.

And what about the innocent man killed by Mossad in Norway? Or was he of no consequence?

And does the passage of time make murder irrelevant? 30 years is a write off for you when Jews are doing it, but I'll bet you love to bring up the 62 year Holocaust (TM).

How do we know that the people Mossad unlawfully murdered were really terrorists at all? Take their word for it?

Why no conform to what most of the world does and extradite, try and punish?

beaj,

"Southie, Senile is a typical Jooo paranoid hypocrite. He has an irrational hatred for Jooos and everything that is non-Aryan in fact."

Rubbish and smears.

You can't handle a few home truths without tarring someone to try and undermine their position.

"When a country is on the defensive as Israel is, international law means nothing"

On the defensive??!!

So you pick and choose which laws you obey and when, whilst screaming to the UN and the US about sanctions for IL violations against Iraq and Iran- the law is fine for that purpose.

"If Israel was a country made of Aryan/non Jooish immigrants and they were trying to stop blacks from suicide bombings, Senile would be preaching the genocide of the black folk in a second."

Maybe if you had treated the millions of people who had been on that land for millennia a little better when you displaced them with your spurious claim and terrorist tactics then maybe they would not feel that they have absolutely nothing left to lose.

When I was in the army I had the misfortunate to serve in a few very unsavoury places (kind of the point though, I suppose) and Rwanda was one of them.

Although the scale of it surpassed most tribal conflicts in Africa, it was part of an ongoing, non-stop continent wide mosaic of tribal conflicts and wars that is old as time and will never end.

That is one major reason I am against their import into the west and that is why I do not write about it.

But you can spin Israel however you like, the fact is that it was a terrorist initiated entity that wilfully displaced millions, as the first prime Minster of Israel was fully aware, and every other Israeli leader:

We must expel Arabs and take their places."
-- David Ben Gurion, 1937, Ben Gurion and the Palestine Arabs, Oxford University Press, 1985.

"There has been Anti-Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?"
-- Quoted by Nahum Goldmann in Le Paraddoxe Juif (The Jewish Paradox), pp. 121-122.

"Jewish villages were built in the place of Arab villages. You do not even know the names of these Arab villages, and I do not blame you because geography books no longer exist. Not only do the books not exist, the Arab villages are not there either. Nahlal arose in the place of Mahlul; Kibbutz Gvat in the place of Jibta; Kibbutz Sarid in the place of Huneifis; and Kefar Yehushua in the place of Tal al-Shuman. There is not a single place built in this country that did not have a former Arab population."
-- David Ben Gurion, quoted in The Jewish Paradox, by Nahum Goldmann, Weidenfeld and Nicolson, 1978, p. 99.

"Let us not ignore the truth among ourselves ... politically we are the aggressors and they defend themselves... The country is theirs, because they inhabit it, whereas we want to come here and settle down, and in their view we want to take away from them their country."
-- David Ben Gurion, quoted on pp 91-2 of Chomsky's Fateful Triangle, which appears in Simha Flapan's "Zionism and the Palestinians pp 141-2 citing a 1938 speech.

"If I knew that it was possible to save all the children of Germany by transporting them to England, and only half by transferring them to the Land of Israel, I would choose the latter, for before us lies not only the numbers of these children but the historical reckoning of the people of Israel."
-- David Ben-Gurion (Quoted on pp 855-56 in Shabtai Teveth's Ben-Gurion in a slightly different translation).

And a few other qualified opinions:

"How can we return the occupied territories? There is nobody to return them to."
-- Golda Meir, March 8, 1969.

We walked outside, Ben-Gurion accompanying us. Allon repeated his question, What is to be done with the Palestinian population?' Ben-Gurion waved his hand in a gesture which said 'Drive them out!"
-- Yitzhak Rabin, leaked censored version of Rabin memoirs, published in the New York Times, 23 October 1979.

"[The Palestinians] are beasts walking on two legs."

-- Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, speech to the Knesset, quoted in Amnon Kapeliouk, "Begin and the 'Beasts,"' New Statesman, June 25, 1982.

"The Partition of Palestine is illegal. It will never be recognized .... Jerusalem was and will for ever be our capital. Eretz Israel will be restored to the people of Israel. All of it. And for Ever."
-- Menachem Begin, the day after the U.N. vote to partition Palestine.

"(The Palestinians) would be crushed like grasshoppers ... heads smashed against the boulders and walls."
-- Isreali Prime Minister (at the time) Yitzhak Shamir in a speech to Jewish settlers New York Times April 1, 1988

Israel should have exploited the repression of the demonstrations in China, when world attention focused on that country, to carry out mass expulsions among the Arabs of the territories."
-- Benyamin Netanyahu, then Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister, former Prime Minister of Israel, speaking to students at Bar Ilan University, from the Israeli journal Hotam, November 24, 1989.

"I would have joined a terrorist organization."
-- Ehud Barak's response to Gideon Levy, a columnist for the Ha'aretz newspaper, when Barak was asked what he would have done if he had been born a Palestinian.

"Israel may have the right to put others on trial, but certainly no one has the right to put the Jewish people and the State of Israel on trial."

-- Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, 25 March, 2001 quoted in BBC News Online

Sentinel, I've seen all those quotes before. Whether authentic or not, I don't care. I have my opinion based on facts, not words.

Israel was formed as legally, in fact more legally than almost any other sovereign country on the face of this planet.

The Sentinel said...

So these quotes are all fake now are they?

Any fact that doesn't suit can discredited or discarded, right?

And these people, especially the first Israeli Prime Minster at the formation of this rogue state are in a much, much better and qualified position to make these observations, confessions if you will, then someone who lives in Canada, wasn't there at the time and has no real involvement now.

gee, my blog took on a life of its own, ROFLMAO!
Forget it, sentibull, I've read just as many histories of the Middle East as you have, the only difference being the ones I read were written by historians and not propagandists.
Israel is a legally formed sovereign state populated by people who had a claim and constant presence on that land for thousands of years, and I'm not talking about the arab come latelys who took it by the sword.
Israel is the Jewish homeland back in the hands of its rightful owners and heirs and all the arab whining in the world won't change that.
There was never a "palestine" and never any people known as "palestinians" until arafat invented them to suit his own political purposes. Institutions dubbed as "palestinian" prior to 1948 were in fact Jewish, including the Palestine Post (owned by Jews), the Palestine Orchestra (Jewish musicians) and the Palestinian division of the British Army in WWII (made up of Jews, while the arabs supported Hitler and his nazi dogs).
The Jews did not displace the arabs, in fact, the arabs moved to today's Israel seeking jobs that the arabs couldn't create for themselves. The Jews did not steal the land, they bought much of what they came to live on and most of the rest was unowned government-controlled land.
They did not force the arabs from Israel in 1948, the arabs fled because their arab brethren assured them they would quickly throw the Jews into the sea. Those who had either the foresight or good luck to stay, live there today as part of the 1 million arab-Israelis.
Your endless BS is merely the typical rhetoric than any Jew interested in Israel has read a bazillion times and serves as mindless background noise in an effort to discount the arab atrocities against the Jews of Israel that have been ongoing for six decades.

The Sentinel said...

"made up of Jews, while the arabs supported Hitler and his nazi dogs"

Funny, how the Zionist supported the Nazis too, by massive finance, effectively supporting more them more just the voters or members.

In his book, I Paid Hitler, Thyssen admitted that the Nazis themselves had been obliged to recognize the services rendered by the Jewish Simon Hirschland Bank in Essen, which had arranged Wall Street loans for Hitler through another Jewish bank in New York, Goldman Sachs & Co. For a long time no-one dared lay hands on the Simon Hirschland Bank, despite pressure from the extremist element of the Nazi Party, try Wall Street and The Rise Of Hitler by Anthony C. Sutton for a bit of home truth behind your history.

And as for the rest of it, Israel was formed by terrorists, we all know that.

And look at what your leaders all the way back to the start have to say about the Palestinians and their displacement.

Are these people wrong?

Should they not have said what they said?

And if anyone has suffered for 'six decades' it is the arab population, in and around Israel, and they continue to everywhere all the way to Iraq and soon, Iran; then Syria.

The history of Israel as a 'Jewish' homeland is farcical cosndiering that even people like beaj do not consider Jews to be really a genetic entity, soany historical claim ois spuriousby that logic.

The truth is today, the vast majority are Ashkenazi, Khazar converts and Turkic peoples with their roots in the Caucus, not the middle east.
